Day 1: Nairobi-Fly to Amboseli national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, will pick you from your hotel in Nairobi or from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and welcome you then he will brief you about the 5 days Amboseli and Maasai Mara Fly in safari. After the briefing you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park that takes a thrilling 45-minute aerial journey that soars Kenya’s rolling hills and vast landscapes offering perfect views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-caped peaks and the park’s forests, swamps before landing at Amboseli’s Airstrip, setting the tone for an unforgettable safari adventure amidst Africa’s incredible wildlife and stunning natural beauty. Upon your arrival, you will have a short en route game drive to your lodge in the park where you will check and be served with lunch.
After lunch you will go for the afternoon game drive in the park to the wide-open landscape, that is the exceptional places in the entire world to spot the free roaming and among other animal species as well as a host of other thrilling wildlife with the impressive views of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro and many others in the beautiful landscape. After the afternoon game drive you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day exploring Amboseli National Park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your safari guide, you will be transferred back to the park for the early morning game drive, this is where you will explore the park’s incredible wildlife including zebras, elephants, lions, antelopes and many others without forgetting the bird species. After the game drive you will be transferred to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will be transferred again to the park for afternoon game drive, for a more experience. In the afternoon game drive is best done in the park’s open plains and swamps, where you will spot the large herds of elephants, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and zebras grazing in the grasslands, while also keeping an eye out for the predators like lions and cheetahs staking their prey, and with the backdrop of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, the scenery is simply breathtaking, making for an unforgettable wildlife experience. After you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Fly to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your delicious breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then you will be transferred to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Wilson where you will connect with the scheduled flight to Maasai Mara national reserve. And once you arrive in Maasai Mara airstrip you will be transferred to the lodge with the enroute game drive, and once you will be arrive the lodge, you will check in. And then be served with lunch.
After lunch you will explore the reserve the home to the massive year around concertation of the game, including the millions and millions of the wildebeests, thousands of zebras, and several antelopes that make up the excellent Great Migration. This becomes incredible and can be witnessed during the period from July to October as they are crossing the Mara River from Serengeti national park in Tanzania to Maasai Mara national reserve. Day 4: Exploring Maasai Mara National Reserve.
On the 4th day of the safari you will have a full day exploring the savannah plains of Masai, game drives start as early as 06:00 am in the morning after breakfast. You are to go for with your packed lunch for picnic lunch then proceed with the game viewing experience or you can be driven back to the lodge after the morning game drive for lunch. Full day game drive in Masai Mara national reserve offers a chance to witness animals in the reserve such as Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Hippo, oribis, olive baboons, klipspringer, kirk’s dik dik, and Zebra among others.
You will experience the Mara River where you can witness the famous wildebeest crossings and then to spot the crocodiles and the hippos the Sekenani area, known for its high concentration of the lions, leopards and among others during the months of July to October. Additionally, you can explore the Talek area and Mara Triangle which is the excellent spot for the diverse range of wildlife and habitats, like grasslands, woodlands, riverine ecosystems and among others. Day 5: From Maasai Mara and fly to Nairobi.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning, and then be served with a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then your safari guide will transfer you to the airstrip to catch your flight back to Nairobi, with the gorgeous aerial views along the flight. And once you arrive at Wilson Airport, you will be met by your African Vacation Safari guide and then you will be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi or to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch a flight back home that will make your flight back home.
