Day 1-4: Cape Town
Welcome to South Africa! On landing in Cape Town you will be warmly welcomed by our African Vacation Safari representative and be transferred to your hotel where you will spend three nights and have plenty of time to explore this vibrant exciting city.
You will be staying at the iconic V&A Waterfront situated in the heart of the action with boutiques, bars and restaurants all within walking distance of your hotel. Shop till you drop in the range of shops and boutiques before taking a fascinating tour of Robben Island, the prison island that housed Nelson Mandela.
Book at cable car up Table Mountain for one of your days, enjoying spectacular views across the city and beyond.
Explore further by booking a tour of the Cape Peninsula or the beautiful Winelands, you could even hire a car and explore nearby under you own steam. Sample delicious food in Franschhoek, stroll through the streets of quirky Stellenbosch or relax on a local vineyard in leafy Constantia.

Day 4-7: Hamilton’s Tented Camp, Kruger National Park
Today we arrive in South Africa’s iconic bush – Kruger National Park. On arrival into Skukuza Airport you will be met and taken by road to Hamilton’s Tented Camp. Located on an exclusive private concession, this tented camp provides the perfect position in the basalt plains of the Satara Region, for the ultimate Kruger safari experience. With access to both the national park and the private conservancies of over 10,000 hectare you can expect unbeatable wildlife viewing.
Arriving at the camp you will have time to check in and freshen up before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. Track the Big Five through the reserve before parking up for sundowners as the sun sets, back to the camp a delicious three-course meal waits.
On a daily you will join early morning and afternoon safaris available, as well as wilderness walks with a qualified guide. Or simply relax on your private deck beside the river and take a dip in your every own plunge pool.

Day 7-12: Bazaruto Island, Mozambique
Depart your safari camp in Kruger National Park and head back to Skukuza Airport for your flight to Vilanculos Mozambique, via Johannesburg.
It is a journey of 15 minutes to get to the coastline to connect with your boat over to Bazaruto Island. After 45 to 60 minutes on the boat you will arrive at your exclusive island resort, where turquoise seas and white sands await. You will spend five nights here to kick back and relax at this luxurious resort, each spacious villa enjoys ocean views and with only 44 villas on the island the island retains its feeling of complete privacy.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy during your stay on the island, from beach volleyball to world-class diving to sunset dine boarding you certainly won’t have a chance to be bored. If rest and relaxation is what you are interested in then indulge at the Anantara Spa.
