Day 1: Arrival to Windhoek and Transfer to Hotel

Day 2 : Transfer from Windhoek to Sossusvlei , Namib Desert

Today, you will journey to the world’s oldest desert, the Namib Desert, which is home to Sossusvlei, Namibia’s most renowned destination. The legendary dunes and clay pans deserve a spot on everyone’s bucket list. The journey from Windhoek covers approximately 330km, with 90km consisting of paved roads. You will travel south to Rehoboth, passing through charming landscapes along the way. In the afternoon, you will appreciate the lodge’s amenities and be sure to catch the breathtaking sunset in this region of Namibia.

Day 3 – 4: Full Day in Sossusvlei

We begin our day early to embrace the gentle light of sunrise illuminating the desert. In the refreshing morning air, we stroll through the desert, where we might catch a glimpse of gemsbok, springbok, and ostrich. We dedicated the morning to exploring Sossusvlei and its surroundings. This remarkable landscape features White Plains and towering red dunes that rise majestically against a deep blue sky, ranking among the highest in the world. We will explore the stunning Dead Vlei. This white clay pan is nestled among towering orange dunes and features the skeletal remains of countless dead camelthorn trees, creating a stunning landscape that captivates photographers. We will pause at the renowned Dune 45, an exquisite star dune that rises over 170 meters tall. Individuals who are sufficiently fit to ascend the dune will be rewarded with stunning vistas of the surrounding Namibian desert. As the day begins to cool, we will take a brief excursion to Sesriem Canyon before returning to our lodge.

Days 5-6: Walvis Bay

Namibia presents a striking array of contrasts. Today, we will journey from the desert to the sea, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn and navigating through the Gaub and Kuiseb passes. As we ascend from the dry riverbed at the base of Kuiseb Canyon, a breathtaking desert panorama reveals itself to us. We will make a stop in Walvis Bay to explore the lagoon. The Walvis Bay lagoon stands out as one of the most significant and abundant wetlands in southern Africa. This area hosts a variety of water birds, such as great and lesser flamingos, Damara terns, pelicans, and avocets.

Day 7-8-9 : Full Day in Swakopmund

Swakopmund is a delightful coastal town known for its German colonial architecture, palm-fringed streets, excellent dining options, numerous shops, and stunning beaches. Today, you have the opportunity to explore at your leisure. The town provides numerous activities, featuring an excellent museum and aquarium. There are several optional activities that can be arranged as well. The offerings consist of a boat tour featuring oysters and champagne, scenic flights and micro-light flights above the desert, fishing excursions from the beach or a boat, desert tours, quad-biking across the desert, sandboarding, and skydiving. Your guide will explore all available options with you and provide assistance in making pre-bookings. Please be aware that all additional activities in Swakopmund depend on availability and will be at the client’s own cost.

Day 10 : Transfer from Swakopmund to Etosha National Park – South

Today, you will proceed to the renowned Etosha National Park. Etosha National Park South presents an impressive display of Namibia’s premier wildlife. A collection of waterholes ensures remarkable game viewing, bordered by enchanting, open grasslands at the periphery of the unforgiving Etosha Pan.

Day 11 : Full Day in Etosha National Park – South

Today is dedicated to a safari adventure! Starting early in the morning is advisable for the best opportunity to observe animals right after sunrise. With a touch of fortune, you could encounter lions, hyenas, elephants, rhinos, and more today! However, the other animals of Etosha Park deserve recognition as well. Large groups of zebras, wildebeests, and springbok wander through the region, approaching the safari vehicles with unexpected proximity.

Day 12-13-14-15 : Full Day in Etosha National Park – East

Today, we will dedicate the majority of our time to exploring for wildlife in Eastern National Park. The eastern section of Etosha National Park offers a more tranquil experience, with fewer visitors and outstanding opportunities for game viewing! Anticipate the characteristic Etosha scenery featuring stark, white pans scattered among areas of grassland. The scenery captivates with herds of elephants playing near the water, predators stealthily watching from afar, and antelopes gracefully traversing the landscape. The park presents numerous chances for photographers to capture stunning images of wildlife and the surrounding landscape.

Day 16 : Transfer from Etosha National Park to Windhoek

A final morning game drive in Etosha National Park will conclude the safari adventure of this trip. After this, you will return to Windhoek. Windhoek offers a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, making it an excellent destination for travelers exploring Namibia. This tidy capital retains its German colonial charm, offering vibrant architecture, diverse cuisine, and delightful Namibian beer. On your final day in Namibia, consider purchasing souvenirs, such as at the Craft Market in Okahandja while traveling from Etosha.
