Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek

Once your tour guide arrives, you will embark on a journey through Windhoek City, and then proceed north along the B1 main road, passing various settlements along the way. In a certain town, you will enjoy lunch and refuel your vehicle. Along the way, you will make a brief stop at Lake Otjikoto, which is the smaller of Namibia’s two permanent natural lakes. This lake is a sinkhole formed by the collapse of a karst cave. The B1 main road is situated just 100 meters away from the lake. The lake measures 102 meters (335 feet) across, though its depth remains a mystery. Following a short pause at the lake, you will proceed along a suitable path to Etosha National Park. Prior to reaching your accommodation within the park, you will embark on a game viewing experience.

Day 2-3: Discover Etosha National Park

Today, you will immerse yourself in this exceptional game park, exploring different water holes to observe the wildlife. Your journey will begin with the breathtaking panorama at Etosha, known as “the place of dry water.” At Okaukuejo Camp, it is quite common to observe lions, elephants, and black rhinos.

As you travel along a pleasant road, consider taking a break in Okahandja town, renowned for hosting Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The market serves as an excellent location for last-minute shopping for authentic Namibian items, as the stalls are managed collaboratively by the local community. Upon your return to the city center around noon, you will be taken to your accommodation or to Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) for your departure flight.
