Itinerary

Day 1: Halali Resort, Etosha National Park (500.7km)

Following an early breakfast, they embarked on this budget Etosha Lodge Safari. As we head north towards Etosha Park, we take a moment to stop in Otjiwarongo for lunch before continuing our journey into Etosha National Park. Entering the park through the Anderson Gate, we set off on our initial game drive to explore the nearby waterholes. We are on the lookout for zebra, giraffe, elephant, and rhino, but our primary focus is on finding predators. We will spend our first night in twin rooms within Etosha Park. We reach Halali Camp just before sunset, taking full advantage of the floodlit waterhole, where guests can observe wildlife as they come to drink in the evening. There is also the possibility of encountering some of the more elusive nocturnal creatures.

Day 2: Halali Resort, Etosha National Park

We embark on our journey at dawn, departing before the sun rises, and make our way back into Etosha National Park for a morning game drive. This is an ideal moment for observing wildlife, as the animals are particularly lively. We pause in the mid-morning at Etosha Pan, the largest salt pan in Namibia, to enjoy a light breakfast. Visitors are encouraged to step onto the flat pan to fully appreciate the vastness of this 4500 sq km saltpan, keeping in mind that this is a seasonal experience. On our journey back to Halali Camp, we stop at several waterholes, on the lookout for lions, rhinos, leopards, and elephants, alongside the plentiful plains game that inhabits this wild region as we make our way to Okaukuejo Camp. On our journey, we pause at a waterhole to admire a breathtaking African sunset casting its glow over the bush.

Day 3: Skeleton Beach Backpackers, Swakopmund (586.1 km)

You set off for Swakopmund early in the morning at approximately 09:00 am, traveling along the picturesque coastal route from Walvis Bay in Namibia. Upon arrival in Walvis Bay, clients will enjoy lunch before departing for Swakopmund.

Day 4: Desert Camp, Sesriem (344.4 km)

Your journey will take you to the Sesriem area. The journey showcases the shift from Kalahari thornveld to the genuine desert of the Namib; Lilyveld, a valley located 30km north of Maltahöhe, bursts into color for approximately a week following substantial rainfall; Duiwiseb Castle offers an intriguing stop 70km south-west of Maltahöhe. Clients will receive lunch during the journey.

Day 5: Desert Camp, Sesriem

Guests will rise and enjoy breakfast prior to entering the park. The tour guide will make frequent stops to allow clients to capture photos and experience the Dunes. The guest is expected to return around lunchtime and will have some free time to enjoy at the pool.
