8 Days Namibia Adventure from Dunes to wildlife : The sand dunes were what preserved Namibia’s pristine beauty. When explorers arrived, they were unable to traverse the desert, thereby protecting Namibia from colonialism until the late 19th century. Several ships made the decision to turn back. Some met their end, leaving behind only wooden remnants. Small oases punctuate the journey, bursts of green that confront the red spectrum. The mountains ascend and descend alongside the dunes, glimmering structures that lead your journey to Sossusvlei. At sunset, these dunes awaken, shimmering in a euphoric spectrum of vivid hues. Ascend the ridge for a breathtaking vista, where countless miles of wild desert present an ethereal landscape.
