Day 1: Johannesburg – Kruger National Park

Your 3-Day Kruger Treehouse Safari in South Africa begins arrival at OR Tambo International Airport or with pick up from your hotel/lodge within Johannesburg after breakfast. Meet an African Vacation Safaris representative (your private safari guide) and journey to Kruger National Park.

The route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region. Have a stopover for lunch along the way.

Arrive at the lodge in mid-day, check in, freshen up and rest. Later in the day you will go for an exciting game drive in Kruger in an open land cruiser, as it gets dark, we stop at the famous Marula Boma for a memorable Bush BBQ.

Day 2: Kruger National Park

Wake up early for breakfast and head out for a full-day safari tour in the Kruger National Park, stopping at popular rest camp for lunch. In the late afternoon, check into the Marc’s Treehouse Lodge. Have another magical night spent around the boma enjoying an authentic African meal.

Kruger National Park offers some of the best Big game viewing in Africa, in an open safari vehicle you will get closer to wildlife Kruger is notorious for. Game viewing in Kruger are done on morning drives, sunset drives and night drives offering incredible sightings of several wildlife including the lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, cheetahs, gazelles, zebras, elephants, rhinos and several bird species.

Day 3: Kruger National Park – Johannesburg

Wake up early and set off with a professional safari guide for a 1 hour sunrise bush walk along the Klaserie River. Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast.

Depart mid-morning for your return trip to Johannesburg, traveling via the Panorama Route to see the beautiful Three Rondavels that overlook the Blyde River Canyon (subject to availability). Stop for a bite to eat and refreshments along the way.

Arrive in late afternoon (17h00) in Johannesburg, drop-off at OR Tambo International Airport or at your hotel or guest lodge.
