4 Days Kruger National Park Big Five Safari : For the adventurous traveler, we have created a 4-day traditional game safari in Kruger National Park. Over the course of these four days, you can visit some of South Africa’s top wildlife spots at a reasonable price. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : Transfer from Johannesburg to Kruger
We pick you up from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport or your hotel at around 7 a.m. After that, we travel east to Kruger National Park. This route passes through some of the most breathtaking mountain passes and farmlands in South Africa. At comfort stops, you can purchase refreshments and use the restroom. Our goal is to reach Hazyview by noon. The lodge is 15 minutes’ drive from the Kruger Gate. After checking in, you will have some time to unwind before getting into an open-sided safari vehicle for an exhilarating dusk game drive. Return to the lodge to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2 : Full Day Kruger National Park
Before embarking on a full-day wildlife drive in the Skukuza region of Kruger National Park, we will meet early in the morning for coffee and rusks. This area, which is home to many different species, offers excellent viewing and photography opportunities due to the 4×4 open-sided vehicle’s high altitude. We’ll stop for breakfast after the dawn game drive. Although breakfast is provided in a bag, meals are also available for purchase at one of the rest camp’s shops. After breakfast, we’ll resume our early-morning adventure. After that, you will eat lunch (at your own expense) at one of the park’s restaurants. Immediately following lunch, we will begin our afternoon game drive. During these game drives, you’ll see a range of species and have many opportunities to take photos. We will return to the lodge at approximately 3 p.m. following our afternoon game drive. There will be time for you to relax and enjoy drinks at the bar.
Day 3 : Transfer to Panorama Route
After breakfast, we’ll take a scenic drive along the Panorama Route. The Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, and several waterfalls are among the breathtaking spots and lookouts you will visit. Along the way, stop for lunch (at your own expense). After your Panorama Tour, we will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 4 : Departure
Today is the last day of your African Kruger safari. You can choose to go on an optional morning game drive (at your own expense) before returning to the resort at noon. We’ll check out and head back to Johannesburg. As scheduled, you will be dropped off in Johannesburg late in the afternoon at a Johannesburg hotel or at Tambo Airport.
