A 2 Days Arusha National Park safari is a thrilling safari that takes you on a safari through one of the Tanzania’s most beautiful and diverse national park. The park is located just a stone’s throw from Arusha town, the park is a treasure trove of stunning landscapes, including the majestic Mount Meru, the sparkling Momela Lakes and the lush Ngurdoto Forest. Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Arusha National Park.
On the 1st day of Arusha National Park, your knowledgeable safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick you up in the morning either from your hotel or from Arusha Airport or from Kilimanjaro International Park and he will welcome you and brief you about the Tanzania safari. After the briefing you will begin your journey on the scenic drive that takes you through the lush countryside. Along the way, you will catch experiences of the towering Mount Meru the fifith-higest peak in Africa and the surrounding hills, which are dotted with the traditional Maasai villages and coffee plantations. The air is filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the sounds of birdsong, setting the tone for a relaxing and scenic to the park, which is located just 25 kilometers from Arusha town. After arriving the park you will be transferred to your lodge and be served with a hearty breakfast. After the breakfast you will meet your safari guide and embark to the park for the full day game drive experience with your packed lunch.
You will begin the experience with a morning game drive, this is where you will spot an incredible variety of wildlife that includes giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, monkeys and among others and various bird species like hornbills, eagles, flamingos, and among others with the backdrop of the wonderful landscapes.
After the experience, you will enjoy your picnic lunch, in the wilderness that is worth the experience. After lunch you will embark on a guided hike to the base of Mount Meru where you will have the opportunity to explore the lush Ngurdoto Forest, with its towering trees, sparkling waterfalls and then the vibrant wildflowers. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your delicious breakfast depending on the time of your flight, you will meet your Tanzania safari guide and go for the morning game drive to watch the early risers in the park, which include the buffaloes, giraffe, hippos, white rhinos, black rhinos, hyenas, cheetahs, leopard, wildebeests, zebras, and among others and various bird species like African fish eagle, Augur buzzard, Black saw-wing, Egptian goose, Great crested grebe, Hartlaub’s turaco, Narina trogon, Peregrine falcon, Red-fronted parrot, Southern pochard, Tawny eagle and among others as the sun rises over the majestic Mount Meru.
After the experience, you will go back to your lodge and check out from your lodge and get your packed lunch. As you exit your lodge you will be fascinated with the beautiful views until you reach Arusha town. Once you arrive you will be dropped either to your hotel in Arusha or dropped at the airport. That will make your safari come to an end.
