Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
On arrival in Arusha, Tanzania on Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our African Vacation Safaris representative. After a short briefing about the safari and what to expect, he will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha where you will spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for a Arusha City Tour in the evening.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, meet your guide and embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park. On this journey you will drive through the Maasai steppe where you will be treated to breathtaking views, pass by charming villages until we reach Tarangire Gate.
Tarangire National Park stretches alongside the magnificent Tarangire River, the area is characterized by rolling hills and vast plains filled with acacia woodlands and majestic baobab trees that tower over the array of animals.
The Tarangire River flowing from North to South and swamp is the main source of water feeding the park and its ecosystem, attracting a wide variety of wildlife during the dry season. The large herds of elephants is one of the highlights of Tarangire National Park and during the game drive you will see other wildlife species including herds of buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, jackals, hyenas, cheetahs, lions among others.
For bird enthusiasts you will be in for a retreat, the park is over 400 bird species to admire including ostriches, herons, and the majestic secretary bird. In the late afternoon, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After a delicious breakfast, we will begin on a journey to Serengeti National Park, this route takes us through the highlands of Karatu passing by Ngorongoro gate for registration. Along the way, we will have a chance to visit one of the Masai Villages and immerse ourselves in their culture. The Maasai warriors will warmly welcome you and give you a tour of their homes while sharing captivating stories about their lives in this region.
Continue to the awe-inspiring Serengeti National Park renowned for its rolling plains. Upon arrival at Naabi Hills Gate, you will register and enjoy a lunch at a picnic spot. Later go for a game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti, lookout for several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, giraffes, antelopes, cheetahs, zebras among others.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Departure
Star your day early with breakfast, head out for an en-route game drive as you head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drives, some of the animals to lookout for large herds of elephants, wildebeests, prides of lions, rhinos, cheetahs and large flocks of flamingoes on the shores of Lake Magadi in the corner of the crater.
After lunch you will ascend the crater and embark on a journey back to Arusha for a dropoff at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
