Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick you from hotel and welcome and brief you about the 6 days Tanzania wildebeest migration safaris. He will welcome you and brief you about the safari, after you will embark on your journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area through the lush countryside and magnificent views along the way. And once you arrive the Ngorongoro conservation area, you will check in your loge and be served with lunch. After lunch you will meet your safari guide and explore the crater that is approximately 600 meters deep and have the gorgeous wildlife experience; the area is a habitant of the diverse numbers of the animal species including the lions, rhinos, zebras, buffaloes, elephants, jackals, gazelles, leopards and among many others. During the experience you will as well have the chance to have the opportunity to explore Lake Magadi which one of the primary features of the crater, this is where you are going to have the exceptional views of the flamingos and among other various bird species. After the experience you will return back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti wildebeest migration lobo area.
On 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, after the breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then head to Serengeti national park, lobo area which is the central part of Serengeti national park, along the way you will have the impressive views of the various attractions. The lobo area in Serengeti is where several wildebeest progress with their migration during the month of July as they are heading to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. You will have the perfect views of the wildlife movements as the transcend in the lobo area. You will later be transferred back to your lodge and have lunch.
After lunch you will be transferred to the park and have more experience during the afternoon game drive to look for the diverse numbers of the animal species that includes elephants, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, cheetahs, elands and among others without forgetting the bird species. After the experience you will head back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Full day lobo area experience.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with delicious breakfast, and then meet your safari guide and head to the park for the full day lobo area experience. This area is close to the Grumeti River that will offer you the unique sighting of the wildlife including the rhinos, lions, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, wildebeests, gazelles, cheetahs and many others. This the best experience where you will have the chance to have a long time experience of wilderness and its constituents. This is the best experience where you will have the long experience of the full day in the lobo area of the park, you will either have the picnic lunch or you will be returning back to the lunch. Later in the evening you will be returning back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to the Northern part of Serengeti Wagakuria area.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, after the breakfast check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and get ready to transfer to the north part of Serengeti National Park that is known as wagakuria. Along the way you will have the unique sightings of the various wildlife that includes zebras, giraffes, elephants, elands and among others until you reach the area.
And once upon you arrive, you will check in and have lunch, and after lunch you will head to the wagakuria area and have the wildlife experience. Normally the wildebeest usually occupy in the area in the month of August to October depending on the rainfall patterns, this northern part stretches to the Mara River that offers you with the stunning obstacles for the wildebeests, as the Mara River offers you the dramatic scenes most though after by the travelers, that see wildebeest struggle to make their way in the stampede over the crocodile in the Mara River. After the experience you will later go back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Full day northern Serengeti experience.
On the 5th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and head to the northern part of the park to search for the spectacle number of the animal species especially the prides of lions that await on the wildebeests that keep crossing. You will have the full day experience which is worth the safari that offers you unforgettable safari memories.
Day 6: En route morning game drive and transfer to Arusha.
On the last day of the safari, you will wake up early and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast check out from your lodge with your packed lunch and then meet your safari guide and head to the park; and experience the early in the en-route morning game drive this is where you are going to watch the early risers that includes the big five mammals and among many others, as you are existing the park.
After the experience, you will proceed with your journey back to Arusha, and this is where your safari guide will drop you to convenient place in Arusha either to your hotel or to the airport to catch flight back to your home. That will make your safari come to the end.
