Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up and ascend the Mount Kilimanjaro.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide will pick up from either your hotel in Arusha or from Arusha Airport and belief you about the 7 days safari. After the briefing you will proceed on your journey to Mount Kilimanjaro. Along you will have the magnificent views, the scenic drive takes you through the villages and the towns, with the landscape transitioning from rolling hills to dense rainforest and finally to the mountain’s base, where your Kilimanjaro adventure begins.
As you hike, the scenery shifts and changes, with the forest giving way to heather and moorland, your goal is to reach the Mandara Hut or perhaps the Maundi Crater, where you will be rewarded with the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the thrill of having experienced the mighty Kilimanjaro, during the hiking experience you will spot various wildlife along. After the experience you will transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Descend and drive to Arusha.
On the 2nd day of the safari, get up early in the morning, and enjoy delicious breakfast, after breakfast, you will leave the rainforest glades and follow and ascend the path of the open moorlands towards the Horombo Escarpment. You will enjoy the views of the Mawenzi and the summit of Kibo, as this where you will look out giant lobbies. After you will enjoy your lunch, and after lunch at Mandara, you will descend and return to Moshi and then later proceed to the Karatu. You will check in to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Datoga and Hadzabe Tribe Experience.
On the 3rd day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy your delicious breakfast, and meet your safari guide. Datoga and Hadzabe tribe experience is a fascinating cultural adventure that takes you into Tanzania’s ancient traditions. You will begin by visiting the Datoga people, learning about their skilled craftsmanship, as they expertly fashion jewelry and tools from metal and stone, and after you will enjoy your lunch.
After lunch you will head to the land of the Hadzabe which is one of Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes, where you will join them on a hunt, learning about their unique customs and ways of life, and gaining appreciation for their harmonious relationship with nature. As the day draws to a close, you will gather around the campfire, listening to stories and songs, and sharing in the warm hospitality of these incredible people. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation, Maasai Bomas visit.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with breakfast, after breakfast check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then head of your drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with the perfect views along the way. Upon your arrival you will enjoy a safari in the Ngorongoro crater where you will visit the world’s large in active caldera which is a home to numerous wildlife such as the big five mammals that includes rhinos, leopards, buffaloes, lions, and elephnats and among others like waterbucks, impalas, elands, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, hartebeests and among others and sighting various bird species.
As well during the safari, you will descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater, as well you will enjoy spotting colourful attractions like Lake Magadi where you spot flamingos along the shores of the lakes as well as hippos. You will have the perfect scenery views along the way until you reach the park. Once upon you reach you will do an afternoon game drive around Serengeti National Park. During the game drive you will have the different wildlife species like the big five mammals, and other various animal species like zebras, cheetahs, elands, waterbucks, kudus, giraffes and different beautiful bird species.
Day 6: Full day Serengeti National Park.
On the 6th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will meet your safari guide and go to Serengeti National Park for the intriguing full day experience with your packed lunch.
As you enter the park you will be welcomed by the endless plains with the incredible variety of animal species , your safari guide will move to you in the park’s hidden corners and secret spots, bringing you up close and personal with the animal, while sharing fascinating information about their habitats, behaviours and social structures. After the morning experience you will enjoy your packed lunch in the wilderness while having the charming views.
After the experience you will go for more experience to look for the wildebeest herds in the savannah plains as well as other wildlife species in the most attractive spots in the park like Seronera valley known for its abundant lion and leopard populations, the Kopjes and others. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge, meet your safari guide and with your packed lunch then drive back to Arusha through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, along the way you will enjoy your enroute lunch, with the fascinating views, and upon your arrival you will be dropped off at your convenient place either at the airport or at your hotel that makes your safari come to the end.
