Day 1: Transfer to Serengeti national park
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick you up either from your hotel in Arusha or direct from the Kilimanjaro International Airport early in the morning; he will welcome you and then brief you about the safari. Then you will set off for a drive from in Arusha to Serengeti national park along the way you will experience the beautiful landscape with the rolling hills and among many others. The drive will take you past Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NGA) which offers the glimpses of the majestic Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera. As you continue northwest, the landscape flattens out, and the endless plains of the Serengeti welcomes you, dotted with the acacia trees and then the rocky outcrops. And once upon you arrive you will check into your lodge and be served with lunch. After lunch you will meet your safari guide and then go for a fascinating game drive.
During the afternoon game drive in the park you will spot plenty of wildlife that thrill in the park including Buffaloes, Lions, Topis, Wildebeests, Elands, Zebras, Impalas, Leopards, and many more in the park’s attractive spots like Seronera valley with its lush grasses and the abundant water sources, is a hub of activity attracting a diverse variety of the predators and prey. The Kopjes a series of the granite outcrops, providing a unique habitat for the lions, leopards, cheetahs and among others and among many others. After the afternoon game drive you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day in Serengeti national park
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast. After an early morning breakfast meet your Tanzania safari driver for an early morning game drive in the savanna plains of Serengeti national park to spot the big five mammals, nocturnal mammals, hunters such as Leopards, Africa wild dog, serval cats, Hyenas, and early morning risers including buffaloes, elephants, Impalas, Zebras, Elands, Wildebeests an many more grazing mammals. This is the thrilling experience, and best spots like Seronera River, with the lush vegetation and abundant water are a magnet for the wildlife and this is the best time to spot the predators stalking their prey, you can explore areas around the Naabi Hill Gate that offers you the best hotspot during the morning game drives. After the morning game drive you will transferred back to your lodge for lunch.
After enjoying your lunch, you will meet your safari guide and head out for an afternoon game drive to meet more mammals in the park as well as plenty of bird species including eagles, ostriches, among others, you can as well explore the popular Retina Pool, the tranquil oasis that offers a rare opportunity to observe hippos in their natural habitat that makes your experience wonderful with unforgettable safari memories. After the experience you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve with the enroute lunch while using the Isebania border where you will clear with customs and your Kenyan guide from African Vacation Safaris will welcome you and then you will proceed to your lodge in Maasai Mara and upon your arrival you will check in and have your dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast, after taking your breakfast your safari guide will transfer you to the reserve for the morning game drive to where you will enjoy spotting various wildlife like the big five mammals that includes the lions, buffaloes, rhinos, elephants and leopards and among others like topis, cheetahs, hyenas, duikers, jackals, and among others. After the experience you will enjoy lunch in the wildlife as you enjoy the perfect views of the landscape. After lunch, you will go for the more wildlife safari experience that is the afternoon game drive you will explore the Mara River to spot the rich wildlife including the large herds of the wildebeests, zebras and antelopes. This is also a prime spot to see the Big five mammals like rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, elephants and lions and among others like cheetahs, hyenas and other predators. The Mara River itself is a great spot to see the hippos, crocodiles and other aquatic wildlife while the surrounding grasslands and woodlands are home to a wide variety of birdlife. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Flight to Entebbe International Airport.
On the 5th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after taking breakfast you will check out from your lodge and be transferred to your airstrip. From there you will have a flight to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda to where you will be met by your Ugandan safari guide from African Vacation Safaris and he will welcome you and then drive you to your hotel. When you arrive at your hotel you will check in, be served with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On the 6th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park the famous home of the half remaining number of the gorillas in the world. Along the way you will have the perfect attractions, you will have the stopover at Equator for the equator experience in Kayabwe that will offer you the wonderful time. After the experience you will proceed with your journey and make a second stopover in Mbarara town to where you will have lunch. After lunch you will proceed with your journey to Bwindi with the best views of the rolling hills, attractive landscape and roads. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge and be served with dinner relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 7: Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience.
On the 7th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will carry your lunch and meet your safari guide to where he will transfer you to the park’s headquarters for the gorilla trekking briefing of the rules and regulations to follow. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with the various gorilla trekking traits. Gorilla trekking takes a period of about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. During gorilla trekking you will be impressed with the diverse spotting of various biodiversity and once the mountain gorillas are spotted you be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the gorillas, that is watching them feeding, playing, breastfeeding, mothers grooming their young ones, taking pictures and recording their videos and among others. After the experience you will be transferred back to the starting point to where you will be will receive the gorilla trekking certificates for taking part in gorilla trekking.
After the experience you will participate in the Batwa experience as this is a unique and enriching cultural encounter that allows visitors to explore the traditional way of life of the Batwa people, an indigenous tribe that has lived in the forest for centuries. During the experience you will be guided by the Batwa guide, who will share with you their ancient knowledgeable of the forest, including their hunting skills and among others. You will also visit a Batwa community, where you will learn about their history, customs, and daily life and have the opportunity to interact with the Batwa people, creating unforgettable memories of this immersive cultural experience. Then you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure.
On the final day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast check out from your lodge and check out then meet your safari guide and prepare back your journey back to Entebbe International Park or in your hotel in Kampala. Along the way driving you will have a stopover Igongo cultural center to where you will have lunch and also learn about the Ankole culture and traditions. After lunch along the way you can have the second stopover the equator for the equator experience then you will embark on your journey until you will the capital city that will make your safari come to the end.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On the 5th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park the famous home of the half remaining number of the gorillas in the world. Along the way you will have the perfect attractions, you will have the stopover at Equator for the equator experience in Kayabwe that will offer you the wonderful time. After the experience you will proceed with your journey and make a second stopover in Mbarara town to where you will have lunch.
