Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
On the 1st day of your safari, your safari guide from our company will pick you up either from Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala. He will welcome you and introduce to you about the 5 days Kibale and Queen Elizabeth safari. After the beliefing, you will embark on the journey to Kibale forest national park. As you leave the bustling city of Kampala behind, you will pass through the picturesque town of Mityana and Mubende, surrounded by the vast expanses of the tea plantation, banana plantations and among others. The road winds its way through the scenic Lake Albert escarpment, offering breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding landscape. Along the way you will have the opportunity to stop at the local markets, interact with the friendly locals, and take in the vibrant culture of rural Uganda, along the way you will have the enroute lunch. After lunch you will proceed with you journey to Kibale. Upon your arrival you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After the breakfast, you will check out from your lodge with your packed lunch and then meet your safari guide and then transfer to Kanyanchu tourism centre for the beliefing about the rules and regulations to follow during the chimpanzee trekking by the experienced park rangers and the park guides. After the beliefing you will be grouped in various groups of 6 people and each group will be assigned by the skilled park ranger that is familiar with the park trails. You will explore the forest to look for the chimpanzees, and this takes a period of about 30 minutes to 5 hours or more depending on the location of the chimpanzees. The experience is rewarding in that during chimpanzee trekking you will be impressed with the various biodiversity in the forest that is various plant species, tree species, animal species, birds species and among many others while looking for the chimpanzees. And once the chimpanzees are found you will be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the chimpanzees, that is when you will watch the chimpanzees playing, feeding, mothers breast feeding their young ones, mothers grooming their young ones. After the experience you will transfer to the starting point and be awarded with the chimpanzee trekking certificates for taking part in chimpanzee trekking. Later you will transfer to transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, this is a scenic drive that takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, while passing through the rolling hills, and the rural villages of the western Uganda. Along the way, you will catch glimpses of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains, Lake George, and the Kasese crater lakes, offering breathtaking views and the photography opportunities. The drive eventually leads you to the entrance of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will begin your exciting adventure exploring the park’s diverse wildlife, like the lions, elephnats, buffaloes, hippos and among others. And once you arrive, you will check in for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and afternoon boat cruise.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your hearty breakfast, after breakfast you will meet your safari guide and then transfer you to the chimpanzee trekking expedition at the Kyambura tourism centre. This is where you will receive a beliefing about the rules and regulations to follow during chimpanzee trekking by the skilled park guides and rangers at the Kyambura tourism centre. After the beliefing, you will transfer in to the wilderness of Kyambura and discover the chimpanzee families of the unique chimpanzees that have adopted strange behaviours and characters to adapting to the exceptional habitat, you will enjoy the period of being in the presence of the chimpanzees, that is watching them doing their daily activities, including watching them making their nests for the next nights, watching them feeding, playing, and among others.
After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for the most massive afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel is a natural channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward that is well known for the highest concentration of the hippos in Africa, not only the hippos the experience is very enough to offer you the stunning views of the various bird species like African fish eagles, pied kingfishers, other animal species in the beautiful scenery like elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles. After the experience you will transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Kampala.
On the final day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then transfer to the park to catch the sighting of the early risers this is where you will spot the diverse number of wildlife life lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, kudus, and among others without forgetting the bird species, in their natural habitat.
After the experience you will embark on your journey back to Kampala with the enroute lunch in Mbarara city, after lunch you will proceed with your journey until you will Kampala with the perfect views along the way. And once you arrive in Kampala you will be dropped at your convenient place that is either at Entebbe International Airport or at your hotel in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
