Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, you will picked up from your hotel in Kampala or from Entebbe International Airport by our company representative from African Vacation Safaris. He will welcome you and belief you about the 4 days safari. After the beliefing you will embark on your journey to Murchison falls national park which is Uganda’s largest national park. Along the way you will have the wonderful views that are eye catching, as well you will have the en-route lunch in Masindi town before you reach the park.
And after lunch, you will proceed with your journey to the park and once you arrive you will be transferred and connect to top of the falls, this is a breathtaking experience, where you will be surrounded by the majestic roar of the Nile River as it plunges 45 meters into the depths below, thus creating the veil that surrounds the area. The force and power of the water has scenic views of the surrounding landscape are simply stunning. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and launch cruise at the bottom of the falls.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast your safari guide will transfer you for the morning game drive especially towards the Northern Bank of the River Nile while in the open roofed vehicle that offer you the wonderful views of the landscapes and sighting the variety of the animal species like Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, elephants, lions, giraffes and various bird species. Morning game drive takes approximately about 3 to 5 hours. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a more safari experience for the launch cruise on along the Nile that offers you the stunning panoramic views at the bottom of the might Murchison falls. During the experience you will have the eye catching eyes views of the hippos, various colourful and beautiful bird species like African Fish Eagles, Kingfishers, Egrets, Herons, Red-throated Bee-eaters, Blue-headed coucals and among many others. After viewing the falls at the bottom you will be transferred by safari guide to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up and take morning breakfast. After breakfast you will meet your safari guide and go for the chimpanzee tracking in the Kaniyo Eco tourism site in Budongo forest, which is the famous mahogany forest in Uganda and it’s a home of the diverse numbers of the chimpanzees. Chimpanzee trekking in the area starts early in the morning with a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing you will start the forest trekking while searching for the chimpanzees, the experience takes a period of about 2 hours to 4hours depending on the location of the chimpanzee.
Along the way looking for the chimpanzees you will be impressed with the wonderful sightings of the various bird species, animal species, plant species and tree species. And once the chimpanzees are spotted you will be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the chimpanzees, that is during that one hour you will watch the chimpanzees, feeding, breast feeding, mothers grooming their young ones, taking their pictures and recording their movies.
After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge and be served with lunch. After lunch you may either relax at your lodge or optional go for the afternoon game drive to view the stunning wildlife that you missed in the previous game drive. During the experience you will spot the wildlife along the water sources in the park that offers you unforgettable safari experience. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Rhino tracking and departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is a charming adventure that all0ows the tourists to get up close and personal with the endangered southern white Rhinoceroses in their natural beauty.
The experience can be guided by the experienced rangers you will track these majestic creatures on foot, learning about their behavior, habitat and conservation status, while also supporting to protect these incredible animals. After the experience you will proceed with your journey to Kampala with enroute lunch. Then embark until the city and once you arrive you will be transferred to your convenient place in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
