The safari begins with exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will embark on a game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, spotting the massive animal species like elephants, lions, hippos and many others, before taking a boat cruise along Kazinga channel to witness the park’s incredible birdlife and acquatic animals. From there you will travel to Bwindi impenetrable national park home to over 468 endangered mountain gorillas, where you will embark on the gorilla trekking adventure, getting up close and personal with these majestic creatures in the natural habitat. The 5-day safari is a perfect blend of adventure, nature and culture offering an unforgettable experience that showcases the best of Uganda’s natural beauty and hospitality.

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On the 1st day of the safari, our company representative will pick you up from your desired location that is either at Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala. He will welcome you and belief you about the safari, and then later you will begin on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park through using the Masaka-Mbarara highway, with the stunning landscapes and perfect views along the way. Along the way you will have a stopover along the equator in Kayabwe that is approximately 72 kilometers southwest of Kampala, the Equator marker is a popular tourist attraction that offers a glimpse into the country’s geographical significance.
As you stand at the equator, you will notice a distinct change in the environment, with the northern hemisphere to your left and the southern hemisphere to your right. During the moment you will take the pictures, with one foot in each hemisphere, and marvel at the fact that you’re standing at the very center of the earth. As you continue your journey, you will carry with you a unique memory of standing at the very heart of the earth, with the Equator as reminder of Uganda’s special place in the world. After the experience you will embark on your journey and make a second stopover in Mbarara for lunch. After lunch you will proceed until you arrive the park. And once you arrive you will be transferred to your lodge check in, be served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park for the early morning game drive to look for the various early risers of the park that includes the waterbucks, leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, Greater kudus, and watching various bird species like Spur-winged Plovers, Fish Eagle, Long tailed cormorants, bee-eaters, Kingfishers, Cattle egrets and among others, after the game drive you will as well explore the Katwe salt pans to where you will engage in the salt-mining that is such wonderful. After the experience you will transferred back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for the most massive afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel is a natural channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward that is well known for the highest concentration of the hippos in Africa, not only the hippos the experience is very enough to offer you the stunning views of the various bird species like African fish eagles, pied kingfishers, other animal species in the beautiful scenery like elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles. After the experience you will transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. As you exist you will have the enroute morning game drive through the Ishasha sector and lookout the impressing tree climbing lions, and other early risers that offers you the best moments. After you will embark on your journey to Bwindi. Along the way you will have the enroute lunch, and after lunch you will embark on your journey as the drive takes you through the stunning Kigezi Highlands, with the break taking views of the distant mountains and Lake Edward. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge and be served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking experience.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will carry your lunch, and meet your safari guide and he will transfer you to the park’s headquarters for the gorilla trekking briefing of the rules and regulations to follow by the experienced park ranger and guides. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with the various gorilla trekking traits. Gorilla trekking takes a period of about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on the location of the gorillas.
During gorilla trekking you will be impressed with the diverse spotting of various biodiversity and once the mountain gorillas are spotted you be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the gorillas, that is watching them feeding, playing, breastfeeding, mothers grooming their young ones, taking pictures and recording their videos and among others. After the experience you will be transferred back to the starting point to where you will be will receive the gorilla trekking certificates for taking part in gorilla trekking. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for relaxation that is simply taking a nature walk around your lodge and this is where you will enjoy experiencing the beautiful landscapes, watching various bird species, and among many others. After you go back to your lodge for, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and begin on your journey to Kampala. Along the way you will stop over for lunch in Mbarara and after lunch you will embark on your journey, that is you can make another stopover at the equator to purchase the local crafts, souvenirs and then the traditional snack, and when you arrive in Kampala you will be dropped off either at your preference destination that’s your hotel or at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight that will make your safari come to the end.
