Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.

On the first day of the safari, your safari guide will pick you early in the morning from any pick location either at Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala. He will welcome you and brief you about the 7 days safari. After the briefing you will embark on your journey to Murchison falls national park. Along the way you will have the perfect views with the stopovers for snacks, brief stretches and among others. And once you reach at Ziwa rhino sanctuary you will go for the amazing rhino trekking that will take you for one hour this is where you will have the perfect experience in the presence of the rhinos and among other wildlife.

After the experience you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park, and once you arrive you will be served with lunch. And after lunch you will embark for the afternoon boat cruise; this will give you the best moments that is sighting the beautiful scenery along the Nile, watching the falls as they pour down, and sighting various bird species and animal species along. After the experience you will hike to the top of the falls to view the falls and the surrounding area from the top, and viewing various wildlife. After the experience you will transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale forest national park.

On the second day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and go for the morning game drive in the park, this is where you will spot the lions, leopards, antelopes, giraffes, hyenas, and various bird species and after the experience you will embark on your journey to Kibale forest national park. Along the way you will have the wonderful views of the landscape and watching the local people doing their daily activities. As well you will have an enroute lunch in Fort portal, and after lunch you will proceed with your journey until you arrive Kibale forest national park. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge and be served dinner, relax and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking, community and nature walk.

On the third day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast together with your packed lunch you will meet your safari guide and then be transferred at the park headquarters for the briefing about the rules and regulations by the experienced park guided and park rangers to follow during chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing you will grouped into various groups of 6 people per group and then you will be assigned to a chimpanzee trekking ranger who will guide you on this wonderful trek. Chimpanzee trekking takes about 2 hours to 6 hours or more depending on the location of the chimpanzees, because these creatures always move to look for food, shelter and among others.

Along the way looking for the chimpanzees you will be fascinated by the various animal species, bird species, plant species, tree species that will make the experience rewarding. And once the chimpanzees are found you will be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the chimpanzees; that is watching the chimpanzees feeding, watching the chimpanzees playing, watching the mothers breastfeeding their mothers, taking their pictures and recording their videos.

And after the one hour of experience you will be transferred to the starting point to where you will be rewarded with the chimpanzee trekking certificates for taking part in chimpanzee trekking. Then you will later be transferred to your lodge to freshen up have a snack and relax. And later you will go for the community and the nature walk to experience the amazing culture of the people of Kibale and interact with them, watching them doing their rest of the day’s activities and others. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park for afternoon boat cruise.

On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge then meet your safari guide and then embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park with the attractive sightings along the way. And once you arrive you will be transferred to your lodge and then check and be served with lunch. After lunch you will proceed to Kazinga channel for the afternoon boat cruise.

This is a tranquil and thrilling safari experience that offers you unique perspective on the park’s diverse wildlife. As you glide along the 40-kilometer channel, that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, you will be treated to the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and an incredible variety of wildlife, including the hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and then abundance of the bird species. The cruise provides a relaxed and intimate way to observe the park’s wildlife with the golden afternoon light a magical glow over the entire scene. Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.

On the fifth day of the safari, wake up early in the morning take your hearty breakfast, after breakfast and meet your safari guide for the game drive. This is a thrilling experience that takes you through the park’s diverse landscapes, offering breathtaking views and then the unforgettable wildlife encounters, with the best spots like Kasenyi plains, to view the abundant lions, leopards and then North Kazinga plains, where you will spot various elephants, buffaloes, and among others.

The drive also takes you through the scenic crater lakes region, where you ca spot the variety of the bird species and other wildlife including the hyenas, warthogs, antelopes and among others. After the experience you will be transferred back to the lodge for lunch. After taking lunch you will check out from your lodge and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. You will enjoy the scenic drive through the rolling hills, verdant forests, and quaint rural villages of the southwestern Uganda. The route takes you through the scenic Kabale district known for its stunning lake views and then traditional Bakiga villages and among others. And once you arrive you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking and Batwa tours.

On the sixth day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will carry your lunch, and meet your safari guide with your packed lunch and he will transfer you to the park’s headquarters for the gorilla trekking briefing of the rules and regulations to follow by the experienced park ranger and guides. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with the various gorilla trekking traits. Gorilla trekking takes a period of about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. During gorilla trekking you will be impressed with the diverse spotting of various biodiversity and once the mountain gorillas are spotted you be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the gorillas, that is watching them feeding, playing, breastfeeding, mothers grooming their young ones, taking pictures and recording their videos and among others.

After the experience you will be transferred back to the starting point to where you will be will receive the gorilla trekking certificates for taking part in gorilla trekking. After the experience depending on your preference you will go for the Batwa tours that will offer you unique and immersive cultural experience allowing the visitors to explore the traditional way of life of the Batwa people, the experience will be led by the Batwa guides, the tours take you through the forest, where you will learn about their ancient hunting and gathering practices, traditional medicine, and sacred rituals. You will visit the Batwa community, to where you can engage with the locals, learn about their history and customs, and support their cultural heritage. The tour provides a fascinating glimpse into the Batwa’s rich cultural identity and offers a chance to contribute to their economic empowerment. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure.

On the last day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After the breakfast you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari guide and then embark on your journey to Kampala. Along the way you will have a stopover in Mbarara at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch and then experience the Ankole cultural museum tour and among many others. Later you will embark on your journey back to Kampala with a second stopover at Kayabwe for Equator experience for both the southern and northern hemispheres, purchasing the souvenirs from the crafts markets and among others. You will reach in Kampala later and then once you arrive you will be dropped at your preferred location either at Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home or dropped to your hotel in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
