The 7 days Uganda Safari takes you to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to the mountain gorillas in the mist and the experience to encounter on this safari, gorilla trekking tours, gorilla safaris and other primates and bird life species can be spotted while on your gorilla tour Uganda. Thereafter transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha southern sector where you can spot the rare African tree climbing lions and experience other wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs among others. Day1: Entebbe/Kampala-Bwindi Gorilla Park

After breakfast, meet our driver/guide and have orientation, thereafter transfer to south-western Uganda via Masaka-Mbarara highway with en-route stopover at the Uganda equator for amazing photographs and snacks. Drive to Agip Motel/Regency Hotel in Mbarara town for your lunch, after embark the safari jeep and transfer to the Bwindi forest via the stunning undulating western land scape and upon your arrival check in at your lodge either Mahogany Springs/Buhoma Lodge/Gorilla Safari Lodge/Lake Mutanda Resort. Day2: Uganda Gorilla Trekking

Have early morning breakfast, after embark the safari jeep and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the mountain gorillas and the forest as well. In Bwindi, gorillas are the star attraction. There are roughly 450 individuals in the jungle, of which over 200 individuals have adapted to human presence following their successful habituation. They go about their business as if you’re not there. Ordinarily, you are expected to keep a 7 meter distance from them so as to avoid possible transmission of any possible air borne diseases. However, they don’t always stick to this rule. They might brush against you while walking past on the narrow forest trails.

If you wish to get into the park faster, African Vacation Safaris can book for you a scheduled two hours flight from Entebbe International Airport.

Have your lunch and thereafter staying with the gorillas return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate and then to you’re for relax as you wait to dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day3: Bwindi Gorilla-Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast and thereafter embark the safari truck and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha southern sector and with chance you will spot the rare African tree climbing lions, other wildlife species like the oribi, topi, warthogs, water and bush bucks among others. Then transfer to the Mweya peninsula where you will have another game drive and the boat ride along the Kazinga Channel river.

In the evening, you will take the unforgettable boat cruise along the Kazinga Chanel River which connects the Ramsar Lake George and Lake Edward. This eternal pool of freshwater attracts animals in their hundreds including all of the Big Five except for the rhino. This two hours cruise present a great opportunity to spot them up-close but from a double decker vessel.

Day4: Game Drives & Boat Ride

Have breakfast and after go for the dawn game drive. Queen Elizabeth is Uganda’s most visited savannah park, and with good reason. Almost from the moment you set foot in it, wildlife especially herbivores surround you in amazing numbers and selection, together with an incomparable sense of space. Among the main highlights include lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, topi, oribi, water and bush bucks among others. This experience takes 3-4 hours and after return to lodge for refreshment and lunch.

Thereafter return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day5: Queen Elizabeth National Park-Kibale Forest National Park

Have breakfast and visit Kyambura gorge. You don’t go to Kyambura for buffalos, lions, leopards and all the rest. At this underground forest, the focus is firmly on a close encounter with some a very well habituated chimpanzee family with 10 members. And for these energetic chimpanzees, Kyambura is superb – maybe the best three places in Africa to see them – maybe…

Have lunch and thereafter embark the safari jeep and transfer to Kibale Forest with the fabled view of the mountain of the moons. Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge/Ndali Lodge/Mountain of the Moon Hotel/Kibale Primate Cottages. Meal plan: F/B

Day6: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Walk

Have early morning breakfast and after transfer to the park head offices for briefing about the primates and the forest as well. Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale ranks to many primate lovers as one of the top wildlife viewing experiences in Africa.

The one hour you will spend with them the chimps is a truly magical moment. Occasionally, they will seem to register your presence and pin their eyes on you out of curiosity, but most of the time, they will act like you are not present. It is quite common for them to brush against tourists if they  happen to be standing in their way.

The experience take 4-5 hours and then return to the lodge for your refreshment and lunch, then in the evening visit the Bigodi wetland for the eco nature walk to search for the rare shoe bill, Sitatunga, white and black colobus, vervet monkeys and manageably. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day7: Kibale Forest-Kampala / Entebbe

Have breakfast, after visit the caves in the Nyakasura area. Have lunch and after embark our safari vehicle and transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe for your return flight back home. End of services
