8 Days South Luangwa Photographic Safari : South Luangwa stands out as a premier destination in Africa for wildlife enthusiasts, boasting more than 60 species of mammals, such as hippos, giraffes, lions, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, buffalo, and the endangered wild dog. The valley boasts over 400 recorded bird species, providing exceptional photo opportunities!
Each game drive is conducted by experienced and enthusiastic safari guides. All photographers are invited, whether you are just starting out or have years of experience.
Engage with your fellow photographers in a welcoming space where every question is valued, no matter how simple.
During this safari, you will utilize a specially designed photography-safari vehicle equipped with swing arms to support clamps featuring camera mounts. The game drive vehicle accommodates a maximum of five people in addition to the photographic guide, ensuring that every participant has a ‘window’ seat.
The vehicle is entirely open, providing 360-degree horizontal views and 180-degree vertical views—thanks to the removable canvas top—for capturing images.
Support from your photography guide is accessible at all times, including the opportunity to review and discuss images upon returning to camp, as well as guidance in the post-processing of your photos.
This individualized method offers the greatest chance to enhance your wildlife photography abilities.
The camp features two photographic hides that are available for use during the tour. During the dry months, animals are often seen visiting the waterholes, providing numerous photographic opportunities.
